Recreate Your Life Program

Information Page

  • Thanks for your interest in the Recreate Your Life Program.  We'll start out by scheduling a complimentary 45-minute discovery call (Click here to schedule it) via Zoom video conferencing to see if we are a good coach-client match, and to talk a bit about where you are now, and where you want to be - what brought you to seek out coaching and what you want to accomplish through coaching.  (If you aren't familiar with Zoom, visit www.zoom.com for more information on this free video conferencing tool.)

    • I'll share information on my coaching fees and plans,

    • I'll explain how the sessions are run, the options for length of sessions, and where they will take place (Zoom only).

    • I'll also explain why I coach with the arts, and my personal experience with the arts as coaching tools.

    • I'll talk about the importance of focus and purpose.

    • I'll explain how powerful coaching with art is so you can make an informed decision about whether or not  this method of coaching is right for you.

    • There must be clear boundaries set so that we don't venture outside coaching--for instance, if the exploration of your artwork is becoming too stressful, you can stop at anytime.  You also aren't required to explore your artwork with me at all.

    • We'll discuss confidentiality and what happens to your artwork at the end of each session as well as when we are no longer working together.  Your artwork belongs to you and what happens to it is up to you.  I will ask your permission to have you email or text me photos of your artwork to include in your client file.

    • And, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about coaching.

  • Discovery call prep questionnaire:

    • Please fill out and submit this form prior to our discovery session.

  • Life coach disclaimer:  I am a life coach.  I am not a licensed health care provider or therapist.  I cannot provide medical advice or diagnosis, nor can I practice therapy.

  • As a life coach, I guide healthy individuals who find themselves feeling stuck in a certain area (or areas) of their lives toward clarity in order to move forward and live more fulfilling lives.

  • My role as your coach in this program:

    • My intention in this program is to guide you to utilize the arts to resolve challenges so that you can live a more meaningful, fulfilling life.

      • Complete the artwork and exercises between sessions.

        • I will work with you to help you understand your art and find meaning in it--connect to it.  I cannot know what the image may mean to you; only you can do that.

        • I will begin coaching you once you are clear about what area you want to work on.

        • I'll encourage you to take notice of new ideas, understanding and insights during each session as well as between sessions.

  • I'll support you in making your own decisions and in moving toward your desired outcome, including holding you accountable for completing assignments, completing action steps, showing up for coaching sessions, and so on.  We can discuss what forms of accountability work best for you.

    • Your coaching agreement and my program cancellation policy will have more information about what is expected of you as my client as well as what is expected of myself as your coach.  The coaching agreement page has a list of agreements based on particular  coaching plans.

    • I believe in you and offer to assist you toward your self-directed stepping-stones in a way that will aid you in accomplishing desired outcomes.  I will not impose my opinions on you, although I may share personal experience occasionally and assist with idea-generation/brainstorming, all with the express purpose of empowering you to move forward toward your desired outcomes.
