Identity Perception Program FAQs:

 

Who is the Program best for?

The program is geared toward individuals with chronic health issues.  If you have issues with identity perception, separating yourself from your health issues, dealing with how other people view you or your health issues, feeling stuck in a rut because of your health issues, or If you would like to build confidence, boost your self-esteem, or tackle a specific goal(s) toward living a more fulfilling life, this program is for you.

 

How is the Program run?

After you sign up and complete the payment process, I will email you a contract and other forms to fill out and return to me electronically.  Then we will set up an appointment for our first session.  Sessions take place on the phone, Zoom, or Skype once a week.  You are responsible for calling me at our appointment time.  Sessions vary in length from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on what we're discussing.  I will call you for a quick, 15-minute check-in mid-week to see how things are going.  I will also send resources to you weekly on topics of interest.  You will also receive weekly exercises via email to complete prior to our next appointment, and have access to videos on a variety of topics associated with identity perception.  At the end of the program, you will receive bonus materials and an evaluation form.  I would appreciate you filling out the evaluation form.  I will use your responses to make decisions for future changes and improvements to the program.

 

What will I learn?

  • Roadblocks and how to break them down

  • Building confidence

  • Taking action

 

When will I complete the Program?

You will complete the program eight weeks after you sign up.  It is an eight-week program that is on-going.  You can start it at any time.  

 

What if I'm living in another country?

That is no problem, as long as you are basically fluent in English, can access PayPal, and have Internet access and phone access with which to attend coaching sessions and view the program materials.

 

How much access will I have to you?

You will meet with me via phone, Zoom, or Skype once a week during the program.  And, I will contact you mid-week for a quick 15-minute check-in to see how things are going, answer questions, etc.  You also get unlimited email support.

 

What if I have depression?

If you are depressed, have suicidal thoughts, feel that life has no meaning, or find no joy in activities you once loved, I would highly recommend that you contact a qualified health care professional for an evaluation and referral to a counselor, psychologist, or other mental health professional.  I am not a counselor, consultant, psychologist, or advisor and cannot provide these services.  

 

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Your personal satisfaction is important to me. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your coaching program a refund will be provided on the following conditions:

 

  • A 100% refund will be issued if you wish to cancel your coaching program before our first session minus $50 cancellation fee.

  • A 75% refund will be issued if you cancel after the first session.

  • No refunds will be issued after the second session.

 

  • Kindly give 24 hours notice if you cannot keep our scheduled phone/Zoom/Skype meeting.  I will do the same. 

  • I will be happy to reschedule our meeting for another time within that week, or into the following week if needed.

  • There are times when cancellation is unavoidable, which I understand.  Please note that phone/Zoom/Skype meetings are a vital part of coaching, so it is important that you make time for them.  I will work with you to find a suitable time.

  • If you fail to participate in three consecutive scheduled phone/Zoom/Skype meetings, I will send you an email stating that I am releasing you from your contract. Part of your contract states that you keep all appointments or give 24 hours notice to cancel/reschedule and that you come prepared to actively participate in each session.  If you miss three appointments, I feel you are not committed to the program.   I will treat this as a cancellation on your part.  No refund will be issued for services not rendered.

 

 

Will I be successful?

That is totally up to you and what your definition of success is.  If you are committed to attending the coaching calls, doing the exercises, watching the videos, and immersing yourself in the program, you are more apt to be successful.  If you come to the end of the program knowing more about yourself, then that, too, could qualify as a success.  It's your call.
